264 Certificates of safety
If an applicant referred to in section 160 produces to the registrar a
certificate signed by a licensed firearms dealer stating that, in the
opinion of a licensed firearms dealer, the firearm the subject of the
application is safe, the registrar, in satisfying themself for that section,
must have regard to that certificate.
