149 Permits to acquire—replacements
(1) The registrar may issue a replacement permit to acquire a firearm to
the permit-holder if satisfied on reasonable grounds that the permit
(the original permit) has been lost, stolen or destroyed.
(2) If the registrar issues the replacement permit, the registrar must—
(a) record in the register that the original permit has been lost, stolen
or destroyed; and
