141 General power to issue permits
The registrar may issue a permit authorising 1 or more of the
following:
(a) the possession or use of a firearm in the circumstances
prescribed by regulation (including for film or theatrical
productions);
(b) the shortening or conversion of a firearm in the circumstances
prescribed by regulation;
(c) anything else that is required by regulation to be authorised by a
permit.
