sec.7N Acting deputy commissioner
The commissioner may appoint a person, who is eligible for appointment as deputy commissioner, to act in the office of deputy commissioner during— any vacancy, or all vacancies, in the office; or any period, or all periods, when the deputy commissioner is absent from duty, or can not, for another reason, perform the functions of the office. s 7N ins 2024 No. 22 s 28
