sec.28 Retirement
A fire service officer— must retire from employment with the fire services upon attaining the age of 65 years; may elect to retire from employment with the fire services upon or at any time after attaining the age of 55 years. s 28 amd 1996 No. 42 ss 21 sch 2 , 3 sch 3 ; 2001 No. 76 s 11 sch 2 ; 2014 No. 17 s 83 ; 2022 No. 34 s 346 ; 2024 No. 22 s 92 sch 1
- (a) must retire from employment with the fire services upon attaining the age of 65 years;
- (b) may elect to retire from employment with the fire services upon or at any time after attaining the age of 55 years.
