sec.151C When proceeding must start
A proceeding for a summary offence against this Act must start within the end of whichever of the following periods ends later— 1 year after the commission of the offence; 6 months after the offence comes to the complainant’s knowledge, but within 2 years after the offence is committed. s 151C ins 2014 No. 17 s 100 amd 2024 No. 22 s 92 sch 1
- (a) 1 year after the commission of the offence;
- (b) 6 months after the offence comes to the complainant’s knowledge, but within 2 years after the offence is committed.
