sec.150K Indictable and summary offences
Subject to subsections (2) and (3) , an offence against this Act is a summary offence. If the maximum penalty for an offence against this Act is imprisonment for 2 years or more, the offence is an indictable offence that is a misdemeanour. An offence against section 150 is a crime. s 150K ins 2014 No. 17 s 100 amd 2024 No. 22 s 92 sch 1 (sec.150K-ssec.1) Subject to subsections (2) and (3) , an offence against this Act is a summary offence. (sec.150K-ssec.2) If the maximum penalty for an offence against this Act is imprisonment for 2 years or more, the offence is an indictable offence that is a misdemeanour. (sec.150K-ssec.3) An offence against section 150 is a crime.
