Tasmania act
This Act postpones the automatic repeal of the Fire Service (Finance) Regulations 2006 until 18 April 2017, treats those regulations as having been continuously in force from 16 May 2006 to that date, and preserves regulation 6’s effect for the full 2015–16 and 2016–17 financial years. It affects anyone subject to those finance rules and temporarily assigns administration to the Minister for Police, Fire and Emergency Management and that department, ensuring continuity of obligations, payments and administration while the regulations remain in force.
