(1) [Section 77F Subsection (1) amended by No. 3 of 2006, s. 16, Applied:26 Jun 2006] *[Section 77F Subsection (1) amended by No. 29 of 1995, s. 63 ]*The Chief Officer may, by warrant under his hand, authorise an authorised officer appointed under the Taxation Administration Act 1997 and any person who is for the time being an officer of the Fire Service to be an inspector to exercise the powers conferred on inspectors by this Division.
(2) *[Section 77F Subsection (2) amended by No. 29 of 1995, s. 63 ]*The Chief Officer shall be deemed to be an inspector and may exercise the powers conferred on inspectors by this Division.
