### 113 Owner of property to give information
> > (1) *\[Section 113 Subsection (1) amended by No. 29 of 1995, s. 92 \]*On being requested to do so by an officer of the Fire Service, the owner of –

> > > > (a) any property that is destroyed or damaged in a fire;
> > >
> > > > (b) any property in or at which a fire occurred; or
> > >
> > > > (c) any property in, on, or attached to any structure in, or in any property in, on, or attached to which, a fire occurred –

> > shall give that officer such particulars as he may require with respect to the circumstances of the fire.

> > (2) *\[Section 113 Subsection (2) amended by No. 101 of 1993, s. 4 and Sched. 1 \]*A person who refuses to comply with any request under [subsection (1)](#GS113@Gs1@EN) or who gives any information that he knows to be false in a material particular in respect of such a request is guilty of an offence and liable to a fine not exceeding 2·5 penalty units.
