9D Removal from office (1) The Fire Rescue Commissioner or a Deputy Fire Rescue Commissioner may be removed from office by the Governor in Council on any of the following grounds— (c) inability to perform the duties of office; (d) any other ground on which the Governor in Council is satisfied that the person is unfit for office. (2) The Governor in Council must not remove a Deputy Fire Rescue Commissioner under subsection (1) unless the Governor in Council is satisfied that the Minister has consulted the Fire Rescue Commissioner about the removal.
