94C Direction not to light fire (1) Fire Rescue Victoria may, for the purpose of protecting life, property or the environment, direct one or more persons not to light a fire at a place, or within a period, specified in the direction. (2) A person must not, without reasonable excuse, fail to comply with a direction given to the person under subsection (1). Penalty: 120 penalty units or imprisonment for 12 months or both.
