104 Superseded references (1) On and after the commencing day, in any Act (other than this Act), or in any instrument made under any Act or in any other document of any kind— (a) a reference to the Metropolitan Fire and Emergency Services Board is taken to be a reference to Fire Rescue Victoria; and (b) a reference to the Chief Officer of the Metropolitan Fire and Emergency Services or the Chief Executive Officer of the Metropolitan Fire and Emergency Services Board is taken to be a reference to the Fire Rescue Commissioner; and (c) a reference to the metropolitan district or the metropolitan fire district is taken to be a reference to the Fire Rescue Victoria fire district; and (d) a reference to the Metropolitan Fire and Emergency Services Appeals Commission is taken to be a reference to the Fire Rescue Victoria Appeals Commission. (2) To avoid doubt, in this section a reference to the Metropolitan Fire and Emergency Services Board, the Chief Officer of the Metropolitan Fire and Emergency Services or the Chief Executive Officer of the Metropolitan Fire and Emergency Services Board includes deemed references under section 95. S. 105 inserted by No. 20/2019 s. 82.
