100 Fire Rescue Commissioner On the commencing day— (a) the offices of Chief Officer and Chief Executive Officer are abolished and the holders of those offices go out of office; and (b) the Fire Rescue Commissioner is the successor in law of the Chief Officer or the Chief Executive Officer (as the case requires); and (c) all rights, assets, liabilities and obligations of the Chief Officer or the Chief Executive Officer become rights, assets, liabilities and obligations of the Fire Rescue Commissioner; and (d) the Fire Rescue Commissioner is substituted for the Chief Officer or the Chief Executive Officer as a party in any proceedings, contract, agreement or arrangement commenced or made by or against or in relation to the Chief Officer or the Chief Executive Officer (as the case requires); and (e) Fire Rescue Victoria may continue and complete any other continuing matter or thing commenced by or against or in relation to the Chief Officer or the Chief Executive Officer (as the case requires).
