Division 1—Establishment of Commission 6—Establishment of Commission (1) The South Australian Fire and Emergency Services Commission is established. (2) The Commission— (3) The Commission is an agency of the Crown and holds its property on behalf of the Crown. 7—Ministerial control (1) The Commission is subject to the control and direction of the Minister. (2) A direction given to the Commission under this section must be in writing. (3) The Minister must, within 6 sitting days after giving a direction to the Commission under this section, have copies of the direction laid before both Houses of Parliament. (4) If the Minister gives a direction under this section, the Commission must cause a statement of the fact that the direction was given to be published in its next annual report.
