66 Notice of direction to be served on fine defaulter and employer (1) If the Director makes an attachment of earnings direction, the Director must cause— (a) a notice of an attachment of earnings direction to be served on the fine defaulter in respect of whom the direction is made specifying the matters under subsection (2); and (b) the direction to be served on the person to whom the direction is directed. (2) A notice of an attachment of earnings direction must— (a) state that an attachment of earnings direction has been made in respect of the fine defaulter; and (b) state that within 14 days of service of the notice and in accordance with section 68, the fine defaulter may apply for the direction to be varied on hardship grounds.
