238 Section 53 amended (1) In the heading to section 53 of the **Infringements Act 2006**, for "**bringing**" **substitute** "**commencing**". (2) In section 53(1)(c) of the **Infringements Act 2006** for "plan." **substitute** "plan;". (3) After section 53(1)(c) of the **Infringements Act 2006 insert**— "(d) if a person does not make the first payment in respect of a proposed payment plan in accordance with section 48, by 6 months from the due date of the first payment under that proposed payment plan.".
