195 Attachment of earnings order (1) An attachment of earnings order made by an infringements registrar in respect of a person under section 123 of the **Infringements Act 2006**, on and from the repeal of that section— (a) is taken to be an attachment of earnings direction made by the Director in respect of a fine defaulter; and (b) all rights and duties that apply in respect of an attachment of earnings direction under this Act apply to the attachment of earnings order made under the **Infringements Act 2006** as if it had been made under this Act. (2) If a person has applied for an attachment of earnings order under section 123 of the **Infringements Act 2006** immediately before the repeal of that section and, on that repeal, the application is pending, the Director may consider the application under this Act as if that application were an application for an attachment of earnings direction.
