173BMinisters may enter into administrative services agreements

173B Ministers may enter into administrative services agreements (1) The Ministers, for and on behalf of the Crown, may enter into an agreement with a person or body for the provision by that person or body of services of an administrative nature in support of the functions of— (a) the Director; or (b) the sheriff; or (c) Victoria Police as carried on in the office known as the Traffic Camera Office; or (d) Victoria Police under Part 4 of the **Melbourne City Link Act 1995** that are of a similar nature to the functions of Victoria Police referred to in paragraph (c); or S. 173B(1)(e) amended by No. 8/2019 s. 108(1). (e) Victoria Police under Part 9 of the **EastLink Project Act 2004** that are of a similar nature to the functions of Victoria Police referred to in paragraph (c); or S. 173B(1)(f) inserted by No. 8/2019 s. 108(2), amended by No. 18/2020 s. 131(a). (f) Victoria Police under Part 3 of the **West Gate Tunnel (Truck Bans and Traffic Management) Act 2019** that are of a similar nature to the functions of Victoria Police referred to in paragraph (c); or S. 173B(1)(g) inserted by No. 18/2020 s. 131(b). (g) Victoria Police under Part 4 of the **North East Link Act 2020** that are of a similar nature to the functions of Victoria Police referred to in paragraph (c). (2) Nothing in this section limits, or takes away from, any other power of the Ministers, whether under this or any other Act or otherwise, to enter into agreements for the provision of services of an administrative nature in support of any functions for which the Ministers are responsible.
