161 Part payment of registered infringement fines to reduce community work At any time while a community work permit is in force, if part of the registered infringement fines are paid in accordance with this Act by or on behalf of the infringement offender, the number of hours of work which the infringement offender is required to perform must be reduced by the number of hours bearing as nearly as possible the same proportion to the total number of hours specified in the community work permit as the amount paid bears to the penalty units to which the community work permit applies.
