66F Removal of immobilisation before end of immobilisation period (1) The Director must direct an immobilisation officer to remove the immobilisation from a motor vehicle before the end of the immobilisation period if: (a) the fine defaulter has paid all outstanding amounts under an enforcement order or the order has otherwise been satisfied; or (b) the Director reasonably believes immobilisation would cause undue inconvenience to a person other than the fine defaulter. (2) The Director may direct an immobilisation officer to remove the immobilisation from a motor vehicle although a fine defaulter has not paid all outstanding amounts under the enforcement order.
