13 Payment of amount required by infringement notice If the penalty under an infringement notice is paid within the period specified in the notice, or the further time allowed under section 12B, the alleged offence is expiated and no further proceedings can be taken in relation to the offence unless the notice is withdrawn in accordance with the law under which the infringement notice was issued.
