116 Payment of share of fine to prosecutor If: (a) an Act imposing or authorising the imposition of a fine or other penalty does not make provision for its application when paid; and (b) the prosecutor in the proceedings is not a law enforcement officer; the court before which the matter is heard may direct that an amount of the fine or penalty (not exceeding one-half) is to be paid to the prosecutor and the Fines Recovery Unit may pay out money accordingly when recovered.
