#### 64A Amendment of fine enforcement order 64A Amendment of fine enforcement order > > (1) The Commissioner may at any time, on the application of a fine defaulter or on the Commissioner’s own initiative, amend a fine enforcement order to correct an error. > > > (2) An amendment is to be made by notice served on the fine defaulter in the same way as the notice of the fine enforcement order. > > > (3) An amendment cannot increase the amount of the fine payable under the order. > > > (4) The Commissioner must give the fine defaulter written notice of the amendment as soon as practicable after amending the fine enforcement order. > > > (5) An amendment made to a fine enforcement order does not affect the validity of anything done before that amendment in relation to the amount owed. > > **s 64A:** Ins 2019 No 13, Sch 1\[54\].
