#### 8 Approved cash carriers (1) The AUSTRAC CEO may, by notice published in the Gazette, declare a cash dealer, being a person referred to in paragraph (k) of the definition of cash dealer in subsection 3(1), to be an approved cash carrier if the AUSTRAC CEO is satisfied that: (a) the cash dealer maintains records containing reportable details of significant cash transactions to which the cash dealer is a party; and (b) the declaration of the cash dealer as an approved cash carrier would not be inconsistent with the objects of this Act. (2) In this section: > reportable details has the same meaning as in section 7.
