21 Compliance with substantiation notice
(1) A person who is given a substantiation notice must comply with the notice: (a) within the period specified in the notice; or (b) within such further time as ASIC allows under subsection (3). (2) A person given a substantiation notice under section 20 may apply to ASIC for further time to comply with the notice. An application must be in writing and made within 21 days after the notice is given. (3) ASIC may, by written notice given to the person, extend the period within which the person must comply with the notice.
