15 Default notice
(1) ASIC may give a person a notice stating the amount that, in ASIC’s opinion, is an instalment of levy payable by the person for a levy period if: (a) a person fails to provide to ASIC information required to be provided under section 8 for the levy period; or (b) ASIC is not satisfied with information provided by the person under section 8 for the levy period; or (c) a person fails to comply with a requirement under section 20 to provide to ASIC information, or a document, relating to the person and the levy period. (2) The amount stated in the notice is taken to be the instalment of levy payable by the person for the levy period, unless the contrary is proved.
