sec.2 Commencement

The following provisions commence on the transfer date— For the definition transfer date —see schedule 2 (Dictionary). parts 3 and 4 part 5 , division 1 , division 2 , subdivisions 1 and 5 , division 3 , subdivisions 1 , 2 (other than section 38 ) and 6 , divisions 4 to 7 (other than sections 70 and 73 ) schedule 1 , parts 2 and 3, except to the extent part 3 amends the Trusts Act 1973 . Schedule 1 , part 3 , to the extent it amends the Trusts Act 1973 , commences on a day to be fixed by proclamation. The provisions that do not commence under subsection (1) or (2) commence on assent. For commencement purposes, part 7 is to be considered separately from schedule 1 .
