This order amends the Financial Management Act 2016 and takes effect on 1 December 2021. It records that the amendments have been incorporated into the authorised version of the Principal Act, was notified in the Gazette on 30 November 2021, and is administered by the Department of Treasury and Finance.
Mechanically, the instrument changes the law by altering the text of the Financial Management Act from the commencement date; it therefore affects Commonwealth entities governed by that Act by changing the statutory wording they must follow.
