54N Minister may acquire land (1) The Minister may purchase by agreement or compulsorily acquire any land required for the construction, completion or extension of any public works or for any related purpose. (2) The **Land Acquisition and Compensation Act 1986** applies to this Act and for that purpose— (a) the **Financial Management Act 1994** is the special Act; (b) the Minister is the Authority. S. 54O inserted by No. 75/1994 s. 8.
