#### 37B Qualifications for appointment A person is not to be appointed as an assessor unless the person has, in the opinion of the Governor‑General, special knowledge in relation to: (a) Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander societies; or (b) land management; or (c) dispute resolution; or (d) any other class of matters considered by the Governor‑General to have substantial relevance to the duties of an assessor.
