23DZC Liability to serve on jury
(1) A person who is qualified to serve as a juror for particular indictable primary proceedings is liable to serve as a juror for those proceedings unless the person: (a) is excused from that service for those proceedings under: (i) a law applying under subsection 23DU(6); or (ii) section 23DZD; or (iii) section 23DZE; or (iv) section 23DZK; or (b) is discharged as a juror or potential juror for those proceedings under Subdivision E.
Note: See sections 23DL and 23DV for when a person is qualified to serve as a juror for particular proceedings.
Lack of qualification does not affect validity of verdict (2) Anything done by a jury is not invalid merely because a juror on the jury was not qualified to serve as a juror for the particular proceedings.
