## Part 15—Evidence > Note: Section 69ZT of the Family Law Act provides that particular provisions of the Evidence Act 1995 dealing with: (a) general rules about giving evidence, examination in chief, re‑examination and cross‑examination; (b) documents and other evidence; (c) hearsay, opinion, admissions, evidence of judgements and convictions, tendency and coincidence, credibility and character; > Note: do not apply to child‑related proceedings unless the Court is satisfied that there are exceptional circumstances and has taken into account the matters set out in paragraph 69ZT(3)(b) of that Act.
