4.01Application

#### 4.01 Application (1) Unless otherwise provided in these Rules, a proceeding must be started by filing an application in accordance with the approved form. (2) An application for final orders may include an application for interim or procedural orders. (3) A person may not file an application for an interim or procedural order unless: (a) an application for a final order has been made in the proceeding; or (b) the application includes an application for a final order. (4) If a person makes an application in a case before final orders have been made in a proceeding, the application must be made in accordance with rule 4.08. > Note: An application for a parenting order must be accompanied by a Notice of Child Abuse, Family Violence or Risk: see rule 22A.02.
