#### 96 Functions of the Chief Executive Officer (1) In managing the administrative affairs of the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, the Chief Judge is assisted by the Chief Executive Officer. (2) The Chief Executive Officer has the power to do all things necessary or convenient to be done for the purpose of assisting the Chief Judge under subsection (1). (3) In particular, the Chief Executive Officer may act on behalf of the Chief Judge in relation to the administrative affairs of the Federal Circuit Court of Australia. (4) The Chief Judge may give the Chief Executive Officer directions relating to the exercise of the Chief Executive Officer’s powers under this Act.
