120Regulations

#### 120 Regulations (1) The Governor‑General may make regulations prescribing matters: (a) required or permitted by this Act to be prescribed; or (b) necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying out or giving effect to this Act. (2) The regulations may prescribe penalties, not exceeding 10 penalty units, for offences against the regulations. (3) The regulations may make provision for or in relation to the following: (a) fees to be paid in respect of either or both of the following: (i) proceedings in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia; (ii) the service or the execution of the process of the Federal Circuit Court of Australia by officers of the Federal Circuit Court of Australia; (b) exemptions from fees covered by paragraph (a); (c) the waiver, remission or refund of fees covered by paragraph (a). (4) The regulations may make provision modifying or adapting provisions of the Legislation Act 2003 (other than the provisions of Part 2 of Chapter 3 of that Act or any other provisions whose modifications or adaptation would affect the operation of that Part) in their application to the Federal Circuit Court of Australia.
