109 The Marshal of the Federal Circuit Court of Australia
(1) The Marshal of the Federal Circuit Court of Australia is to be a person engaged under the Public Service Act 1999. (2) The Marshal is responsible for: (a) the security of the Federal Circuit Court of Australia; and (b) the personal security of the Judges and officers and staff of the Federal Circuit Court of Australia. (3) The Marshal is also responsible for: (a) taking, receiving and detaining all persons committed to his or her custody by the Federal Circuit Court of Australia; and (b) discharging such persons when so directed by the Federal Circuit Court of Australia or otherwise required by law.
