##### 30 State officer may act on certificate (1) Where: (a) land vests in the Corporation by virtue of this Part; and (b) a certificate, signed by an officer of the Attorney‑General’s Department authorised by the Secretary to that Department to give such certificates, which identifies that land, by reference to a map or otherwise, and states that that land is vested in the Corporation by virtue of this Part is lodged with the Registrar‑General, Registrar of Titles or other proper officer of the State or Territory in which the land is situated; the officer with whom the certificate is lodged may register the vesting in the manner as nearly as may be in which dealings with land are registered, and may deal with and give effect to the certificate as if it were a grant, conveyance, memorandum or instrument of transfer of the estate or interest to the Corporation duly executed under the laws in force in that State or Territory. (2) In this section, land includes any right, title or interest in land.
