#### 29A Amount of instalments of exceptional circumstances relief payment The instalment of exceptional circumstances relief payment payable for a period to a person is worked out using the formula:  > Note 1: For the person’s rate, see section 24A. > Note 2: An instalment of exceptional circumstances relief payment may be reduced for the purpose of the recovery of a debt under section 56 of this Act (see section 1231A of the Social Security Act 1991).
