60G Oral explanation of interim order S. 60G(1) amended by No. 1/2026 s. 6(1). (1) If the court makes an interim order under this Division and the relevant party or the protected person or both are before the court, the court must give the relevant party and the protected person (as the case requires) a clear oral explanation of the matters referred to in section 57(1). S. 60G(2) amended by No. 1/2026 s. 6(2). (2) If the court makes an interim order under this Division against a relevant party who is a child and the relevant party or protected person or both are before the court, the court must give the relevant party and the protected person (as the case requires) a clear oral explanation of the matters referred to in section 57A(2). (3) A failure by the court to give an oral explanation in accordance with this section does not affect the validity of the interim order. S. 60H (Heading) amended by No. 1/2026 s. 7(1).
