58 Interim order made on electronic application by police If the court makes an order under section 53 on an application made by a police officer by telephone, fax or other electronic communication, the court must inform the police officer of— (a) the terms of the order; and (b) the period of operation of the order; and (c) the venue of the court for the first mention date for the application for the family violence intervention order; and (d) the date and time of the first mention date for the application for the family violence intervention order . See section 5(2) of the **Magistrates' Court Act 1989** which provides that the Magistrates' Court may sit and act at any time and place.
