176 Relationship with Family Court orders A family violence intervention order operates subject to any declaration made under section 68Q of the Family Law Act by a court having jurisdiction under Part VII of that Act. Section 68Q of the Family Law Act provides that a court exercising jurisdiction under that Act may make a declaration that an order or injunction under that Act is inconsistent with a family violence intervention order. To the extent of the inconsistency, the family violence intervention order is invalid. See also section 68R of the Family Law Act which provides that a court exercising jurisdiction under this Act may revive, vary, discharge or suspend certain Family Law Act orders.
