17 Application forms that require affected person’s address (1) This section applies if a form approved under the Court Procedures Act 2004, section 8 for an application for a family violence order requires the affected person’s home or work address to be included in the application. (2) The address need not be included in the application. Note If a party to an application for a protection order is not represented by a lawyer, any address for service given to the court must not be given to the other party without the self-represented party’s consent (see s 70D). (3) For this section, if the affected person is not the applicant, affected person includes the applicant.
