### 21 Issue of warrants in respect of application
> > (1) A court may issue a warrant for the arrest of the person against whom an FVO is sought if the court is of the opinion that it is a case of urgency and there is sufficient cause to do so.
>
> > (2) Where a court issues a warrant for the arrest of a person under [subsection (1)](#GS21@Gs1@EN) and an application for an FVO has not been filed at the time the warrant is issued, the application is to be filed as soon as practicable after the warrant is issued.
