### 20 Variation, extension and revocation of FVO
> > (1) A person who may make an application for an FVO or a person against whom an FVO has been made may at any time apply to a court for a variation, extension or revocation of the FVO.

> > (2) An application referred to in [subsection (1)](#GS20@Gs1@EN) may only be made with the leave of the court.

> > (3) [*\[Section 20 Subsection (3) amended by No. 5 of 2025, s. 4, Applied:16 Apr 2025\]*](/view/html/inforce/2025-04-16/act-2025-005#GS4@Hpa@EN) The court is not to grant leave under [subsection (2)](#GS20@Gs2@EN) , in respect of the variation or revocation of an FVO, unless satisfied that there has been a substantial change in the relevant circumstances since the order was made or last varied.

> > (4) [Section 18](#GS18@EN) applies to the variation, extension or revocation of an FVO in the same manner as it applies to the making of an FVO.
