#### 169 Pecuniary penalty orders that the Federal Court may make (1) For conduct that contravenes a civil penalty provision in these Regulations, the Federal Court may make an order imposing on the person or organisation whose conduct contravened the civil penalty provision a pecuniary penalty of not more than: (a) in the case of a body corporate—25 penalty units; or (b) in any other case—5 penalty units. (2) A penalty payable under this regulation is a civil debt payable to the Commonwealth. (3) The Commonwealth may enforce the order as if it were an order made in civil proceedings against the person, reporting unit or organisation to recover a debt due by the person. (4) The debt arising from the order is taken to be a judgment debt.
