#### 125 Change of name etc—hearing of application for consent (s 158) (1) The FWC, in dealing with an application under subregulation 121(1), must not: (a) refuse to grant the application without giving the applicant an opportunity to be heard; or (b) grant the application without giving any objector who has complied with regulation 124 an opportunity to be heard. (2) The FWC must, to give the applicant and an objector mentioned in paragraph (1)(b) (the objector) an opportunity to be heard: (a) fix a time and place for a hearing; and (b) notify the applicant and the objector of the time and place so fixed. (3) The FWC may, at the time and place fixed for the hearing, give directions relating to the manner in which the hearing is to proceed and may: (a) determine the matter without further delay; or (b) adjourn the proceedings to a later day; or (c) with the agreement of the applicant and the objector, determine the matter on a later day without a further hearing.
