#### 36A Application of this Part General (1) This Part applies to an investigation by the Director into a suspected contravention, by a building industry participant, of a designated building law or a safety net contractual entitlement. Limitation on Director’s powers (2) However, the Director may exercise powers under this Part in relation to a suspected contravention by a building industry participant of a safety net contractual entitlement only if the Director reasonably believes that the building industry participant has contravened a provision or term referred to in subsection 706(2) of the FW Act.
