#### 31 Minister’s directions to Federal Safety Commissioner (1) The Minister may give written directions to the Federal Safety Commissioner specifying the manner in which the Federal Safety Commissioner must exercise or perform the powers or functions of the Federal Safety Commissioner under this Act. (2) The Minister must not give a direction under subsection (1) about a particular case. (3) The Federal Safety Commissioner must comply with a direction under subsection (1). (4) A direction under subsection (1) is a legislative instrument. (5) Despite anything in regulations made for the purposes of paragraph 44(2)(b) of the Legislation Act 2003, section 42 (disallowance) of that Act applies to a direction under subsection (1) of this section.
