11Minister’s directions

#### 11 Minister’s directions (1) The Minister may, by legislative instrument, give directions to the Director about: (a) the policies, programs and priorities of the Director; and (b) the manner in which the Director is to perform the functions or exercise the powers of the Director. (2) The Minister must not give a direction under subsection (1) about a particular case. (3) The Director must comply with a direction under subsection (1). (4) Despite anything in regulations made for the purposes of paragraph 44(2)(b) of the Legislation Act 2003, section 42 (disallowance) of that Act applies to a direction under subsection (1) of this section.
